Mix well with the mixing knife until it becomes a smooth paste. Make sure the mixture is even and homogeneous, with no dry powder lumps.\u003cbr\u003e\nNext, add a small amount of **Fine Line Lavender Medium** and continue mixing until the paste becomes more fluid and has a smooth, flowing paint consistency.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDip the **outside of the nib** into the mixed color. Test it on the side first to make sure the color flows smoothly through the nib and transfers onto the enamel surface. Do not press too hard while drawing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf the mixture is too thick and does not flow, add a little more **Fine Line Lavender Medium**.\u003cbr\u003e\nIf it is too thin, add a little more Black 424 powder.\u003cbr\u003e\nWhen you finish working, carefully clean the nib.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAllow the design to dry.\u003cbr\u003e\nThen fire the piece with a torch or in a kiln.\u003cbr\u003e\nWhen using a kiln, first place the piece in the kiln with the door open for about 5 seconds, then remove it when you see smoke beginning to appear.
