Quick Shine Paints mix smoothly, fire easily and produce a brilliant glossy finish. Mix the colors together to create additional shades, soft transitions, highlights, shadows and professional three-dimensional effects.

• Oil Paint Mixing Medium, 30 ml, for preparing the Quick Shine Paints for use with the Enamel Nib Pen

• Fine Line Lavender Medium, 15 ml, to combine with the Oil Paint Mixing Medium and Quick Shine Paints for smoother application with the Enamel Nib Pen

• Covered 24-well palette for storing your prepared colors

• 9 assorted painting brushes, including liner and petal brushes. Clean the brushes with Stay-Wet Painting Oil after use

• Enamel drawing pencil for drawing easily on a previously fired enamel surface. The pencil marks burn away during firing without leaving marks on the finished piece

• Enamel transfer paper, 15 × 15 cm

HOW TO USE

Mix each Quick Shine Paint powder with Stay-Wet Painting Oil until it reaches a smooth, paste-like consistency.

Place the prepared colors inside the covered 24-well palette. The paints remain workable and ready to use until they are fired.

The colors can also be mixed together to create additional custom shades and combinations.

Apply the paint over a previously fired enamel surface. Use the Dry Blending Brushes to create smooth shading and soft color transitions.

Use a gentle tapping motion with a suitable brush or the Latex Texture Applicator to create even layers, decorative backgrounds, fur-like textures and dimensional effects.

For fine lines and details, use the Enamel Nib Pen with the Oil Paint Mixing Medium and Fine Line Lavender Medium.

Fire each painted layer at approximately 1400°F / 760°C for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Allow the piece to cool completely before adding another layer.
