How to Apply Waterslide Decals:
1️⃣ Preparation
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
- Cut the decal to size, leaving a small border around the design.
2️⃣ Soaking in Water
- Submerge the decal in lukewarm water for 30-60 seconds, until it starts to slide off the backing paper.
3️⃣ Application
- Place the decal on the surface while still on the backing paper.
- Gently slide it onto the surface using your finger or a soft tool.
4️⃣ Smoothing & Positioning
- Use a soft cloth or sponge to remove excess water and air bubbles.
- Ensure the decal is aligned properly and free of wrinkles.
5️⃣ Drying
- Let the decal dry for several hours or as per manufacturer instructions.
6️⃣ Firing
- Kiln or torch firing may be required to set the decal permanently.
- Follow the firing instructions below based on the material.
7️⃣ Finishing
- Once fired and fully dried, your piece is ready for use or further artistic enhancement!

Firing Temperature Guidelines:
🔥 For Enamel:
- Kiln: 785°C (1445°F) for 1 minute.
- Torch: Heat gently until the decal changes color, then continue until it fully fuses.
🔥 For Glass:
- Ramp from 20°C (68°F) to 590°C (1094°F) up to 640°C (1184°F) over 4 hours.
- Hold at target temperature for 25-30 minutes, then allow slow cooling.
🔥 For Ceramic:
- Ramp from 20°C (68°F) to 785°C (1445°F) in 60 minutes.
- Hold for 15 minutes, then allow the kiln to cool naturally.
