Copper Shape Set – Cloisonné-Style Layered Design for Enameling

This set includes two identical copper shapes in the same size and design:

Piece #1 – The solid base, enamelable on both sides.

Piece #2 – The matching top layer with thin cut-out sections, designed to create a cloisonné-like effect in an easier way.

How it works:

Apply enamel to both the back and front of Piece #1.

If using transparent enamel, you can add silver foil or leaf under the enamel for extra shine.

Place Piece #2 directly on top of Piece #1 and heat until the two layers fuse together.

The cut-out areas of Piece #2 will create small “cells” where you can apply wet enamel powder.

After the powder dries, fire in a kiln or with a torch.

Repeat adding and firing enamel until it reaches the same height as the copper top layer.

Once cooled, sand and polish to bring out the beauty of both the copper and the enamel.
