Unlike standard stencils, these layered designs let you apply one color at a time, similar to the process used in silk screen printing. Each layer is fired before the next is added, allowing you to create crisp, perfectly aligned multicolor artwork.

The set includes **two different layering methods**:
Each layered design is created either from a single stencil divided into 2 to 4 sections or from multiple separate stencil sheets. For designs made from multiple stencil sheets, each sheet is identified with a matching number and letter (for example, 81A, 81B, 81C) so you can easily identify the layers that belong to the same design and apply them in the correct sequence.

## How it works

1. Position the first stencil layer (or the first section of the stencil) and sift your first enamel color.
2. Fire the piece and allow it to cool.
3. Place the next layer or use the next section of the stencil and sift the next color.
4. Fire again, cool, and continue until your design is complete.

Each layered design is clearly marked with matching numbers and letters (for example, **81A, 81B, 81C**) so you can easily identify which stencils belong together and use them in the correct order.

To make positioning even easier, every layer also includes a light outline of the complete design. This reference allows you to accurately align each stencil over the previous fired layer, helping you achieve precise registration and perfectly aligned multicolor results.
